The differences between an isolation box, shielding box, and shielding room are as follows?
In Taiwan, an RF Shielding Box is commonly referred to as an "shielding box," while in mainland China, it is called a "isolation box," though both terms refer to the same device. The most noticeable difference between an isolation box and an isolation room is the size: an isolation room is large enough for a person to enter and place testing equipment inside, whereas an isolation box is smaller and usually only contains the device under test (DUT). The primary function of both is to prevent signal leakage, ensuring a stable environment for connecting the DUT with testing instruments and collecting accurate data. Most isolation boxes are equipped with fixtures to secure the DUT, minimizing variables during testing.
